Ichigo (Zoey in the dub) is the star of Tokyo Mew Mew. She is your normal junior high school girl, with her crush on Masaya (Mark), and is ditzy, sweet, and funny. One day, during a date with Masaya, she gets her DNA fused with that of the Iriomote wildcat (an endangered wildcat), then learns from Ryo (Elliot), leader of Project MewMew, that she must save the world with four other girls. Ichigo is the leader of the MewMews.
