I welcome contributions to this site. I love contributions to this site. I think of it as "our" site, not mine.
What can you contribute to the pages? Anything that will add to the enjoyment of visitors. In fact, I'll put just about anything on these pages, as long as it isn't way too long, or illegal, immoral, or commercial. Most of our contributions are images and quotes, but we also have some more unusual things like comments (where you say what you want about the character or show), favorite scenes, nicknames, trivia ~ in short, whatever you want to share about the character or show, we'll find a place for it.

We have other ways you can contribute to the site, too. We let you make your own harem, and we take fanfiction and fan art, names for the Halls of Fame for animators, composers, and voice actors, links to animation sites and forums, and pretty much anything dedicated to the site or to animation.
However, because this site is so big, and I get so many contributions, there are some rules. If you don't follow them, your contribution will not be taken. I'll just delete it. I hate to be a pain about this, but the sheer volume of this site is forcing me to do it. I have helpers now (the wonderful ALians), and they won't be able to find your contributions if you don't follow the rules.
- When you send a contribution, be sure to put something in the subject line that tells me what it is, so I don't mistake your email for spam. I get a lot of spam.
- Contributions to existing pages should be sent to animatedlust@gmail.com. Don't make contributions for pages that don't exist on the site yet (unless, of course, you're creating a new page). After all, if there's no page, where will I put them?
- Any page that doesn't have a name at the bottom was created by me. If the description is pathetic, it's probably because I made it when the site first started, and I didn't know the character. If you'd like to write a better one, email me at animatedlust@gmail.com and ask me if you can. I'll be happy to take any good description of a character that I'm unfamiliar with.
- New character pages should be sent to alcharpgs@gmail.com. See the Create-A-Shrine page for details.
- New show and video game pages should be sent to animatedlust@gmail.com. See the Create-A-Shrine page page for details.
- Rules for images:
- If you send images, do not send more than 10 at a time for a single page. If you have more, wait until those are posted, then send another 10. Don't fill up my mailbox and block others from contributing.
- If you find a site with lots of great images of a character, please don't send me all of them! The site masters get really irritated at that. Just pick out a few of your favorites.
- Don't send animated gifs (except banners that are used as links). They're just too big, and my space is limited.
- Do not send images from someone else's site unless they are free to use or you have gained permission from the site owner. Many sites allow the use of their images in exchange for a link back - in those cases, provide me with the link.
- Do not send fan art without the permission of the artist.
- Image size restrictions:
- For character pages, length + width must be no more than 700 px, but no less than 300 px. I prefer the longest side to be no more than 400 px.
- For show and game pages, length + width must be less than 1000 px, but at least 300 px.
- Exceptions ~ character thumbnails on the show pages (length + width must be 200 or less); harem images (which have their own rules, on the harems page); banners, codes, and buttons that link to other sites.
- I will resize images that come to me too large, and I don't mind doing it. I will resize those that are too small, but if the result looks bad, I won't post it.
- Any contribution to harems, whether a new harem or a revision, should be sent to alharems@yahoo.com. See the Harems page for details.
- All fan art should be sent to alfanart@gmail.com. See the fan art page for details.
- All fanfic should be sent to animatedlust@gmail.com. See the fanfic page for details.
- Contributions for the the Halls of Fame should be sent to animatedlust@gmail.com.
- Contributions to "Dedicated to AL" can be sent to animatedlust@gmail.com.
- Quotes for the two random-quote generators can be s ent to animatedlust@gmail.com. Be sure to include the name of the character(s) speaking, and the name of the show or story. Keep these brief!
- I won't take contributions from the forums any more. Sorry. However, I will take corrections from the Owl Post, because those should be done right away.
- If you have questions (and they aren't answered on the FAQ page), you may email me at animatedlust@gmail.com or ask at the Owl Post.
- Want to change something you've already contributed? No problem! Just send the change to animatedlust@gmail.com.
When I post your contribution, I'll do it under "Anon" unless you tell me the name you want me to use.
I do not accept:
- Video or song files.
- Links to video or song files.
- Links to anything pornographic or commercial.
Thank you to all of those who have contributed already (there's some wonderful stuff!), and thanks in advance to all of you who are reading this now and, despite all those rules, are reaching for that mouse button, thinking "Hey! I've got something to say!"
